Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Business Services, the AECOM Source-to-Pay (S2P) Global Process Owner is a key leadership role. The role is a budget owner of the entire GBS function that resides under this tower working with centers to ensure appropriate design and delivery of services and with stakeholders across AECOM business lines and functions to ensure value creation, budget delivery and alignment in expectations.

This position can be based anywhere globally.

  • GBS has experienced significant change over the past 18 months and will continue to be a key strategic enabler for AECOM into the future covering all functions within AECOM

  • With the establishment of global shared service centers as well as the objective to standardize processes across the organizational we will move towards a global organization with regional representation to ensure connectivity to the businesses and budgets

  • Global Process Owners (GPOs) will drive key transformational activities and change management by tower and work with the centers to deliver services to our expanding customer base

  • Global Process Owners will also govern the end to end process, working in conjunction with key business and functional stakeholders

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create an effective operating model that includes vision/strategy, governance, service delivery framework and a global standard process

  • Lead and improve process and technology design and enablement including, but not limited to, Artificial Intelligence / Robotics

  • Improve integrity of the tower process and increase process reliability through improved cross functional alignment

  • Design and implement health metrics and KPIs to monitor the process and systems; map these against industry best practice. Improve management and control over the entire end to end process, removing redundant and focusing on added value activities

  • Drive business transformation initiatives focused on improving the employee experience and standardization and automation of processes

  • Drive a culture of constant improvement; Identify and implement initiatives in order in increase business-wide effectiveness and efficiency

  • Enhance controls that maximize efficiency while keeping teams operationally compliant

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including but not limited to Regional CPOs and Strategic and Operational Buying teams, Operational Mangers, Supply Chain, IT, Controls and Finance

  • Work with communication and change management teams to build effective plans when required

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related discipline

  • 10+ years relevant work experience in a Shared Services environment, including 6 years of leadership.

  • Ability to actively engage stakeholders, clients and staff to ensure processes are executed consistently

  • Experience in a multi-function shared service/GBS environment with an understanding of end to end process management

  • Ability to Lead, motivate and influence others

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations

  • Ability to design and deliver transformational initiatives

  • Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills; proficient at communicating conclusions to leadership in concise manner

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively problem-solve

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Oracle, Kofax and Coupa or similar systems

  • Experience working with and managing a third party outsource provider

  • Lean, six sigma experience

  • CPA

  • MBA
