Job Description: Information Security - Senior Cyber Security Engineer
Responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of the client s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system. Performs Tier-1 investigations into all alerts triggered by the DLP system and escalates as necessary. Works with the business to define new DLP policies and refine existing policies to ensure maximum protection for the client data. Documents and investigates all suspicious activities escalated by the client s Information Security tools. Generates metrics for senior leadership on data protection trending and investigations.
Provide day-to-day support for the client s Data Loss Prevention platform.
Investigate alerts triggered by the DLP toolset and escalates when necessary.
Refines DLP policies to improve data protection.
Creates documentation and training material for the DLP platform.
Generates metrics for senior leadership.
Contributes to the annual budget planning process.
Expected to join 24x7 support rotation.
Other tasks as defined by management.
Must have 1-3 years experience working with Symantec DLP platform (DLP, CASB, etc.).
1-3 years experience of creating dashboards and analyzing data in Splunk is a plus.
Demonstrated experience dealing with highly confidential and sensitive data.
Demonstrated success working with separation-of-duties in a team environment.
Must have superior communication skills.
Experience with Powershell script creation a plus.
