The Instructional Production Services (IPS) team within the Digital Learning & Innovation office at Boston University offers instructional strategy and design in online/hybrid modalities, digital media creation and course production in service of the Universitys digital initiatives. The IPS team works with college, department, or faculty-initiated projects, as well as grant-funded initiatives and special projects. The Instructional Production Coordinator provides high-level support to the manager and staff of Instructional Production Services. Primary Responsibilities: Work with the IPS team and collaborators to understand project scope, production workflows and timelines. Support IPS projects throughout course and media production lifecycles by scheduling and attending relevant meetings; tracking timelines and schedules; and preparing project documentation as needed. Maintain detailed record of project activities and retain records upon completion. Assist in the day-to-day logistical activities of IPS by distributing production schedules, coordinating between departments, ensuring space readiness & adequate material availability. Facilitate group efficiency by reviewing resource allocation and revising schedules when necessary to account for changes, stakeholder feedback, shortages, backlogs and other issues as they arise. Communicate with all relevant stakeholders and teams as necessary to coordinate IPS activities and efficiently troubleshoot any issues. Work collaboratively with DL&I administrative staff to schedule and organize IPS events. Help order, reserve and maintain relevant production equipment. Assist the IPS team with other related tasks, as necessary. Required Skills Bachelors degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain respectful, cooperative, productive work relationships. Strong organizational and project management capabilities, including the ability to manage a variety of complex projects and priorities, coordinate with others, and follow projects through to completion. Initiative to organize, prioritize, plan, and manage work activities according to necessary timelines and schedules. Tact and discretion with sensitive/confidential information. Ability to operate comfortably in a wide variety of roles, whether behind the scenes, or publicly. Required Experience Bachelors degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
