Are you a skilled Automation Engineer with broad expertise in DevOps and Continuous Integration practices across a wide range of security solutions? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our leading financial services client in Boston.

Responsibilities of the DevOps Automation Specialist:
Provide subject matter expertise on DevOps best practices to reduce security risks of applications
Document best practice guidelines for development team to introduce new technologies
Offer expertise to technical team in the configuration of Docker with an emphasis on secure system development
Create automated security tests for Docker, Scala, and Elasticsearch using tools like BDD and Linter
Actively participate in daily standup meetings and monitor code development; track issues in Github
Work collaboratively to guide and ensure the smooth operation of AWS
Requirements of the DevOps Automation Specialist:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; AWS Certified Developer or Solution Architect preferred
At least 5 years of systems administration experience supporting virtual environments
Proven ability to implement large scale infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and industry best practices
Solid programming skills; tools development experience in Python, Perl, Shell, and REST API's
Experience in infrastructure management for continuous integration environment
Experience with Linux file systems, and Linux and Docker operating systems
Ability to automate and deploy code across multiple environments
Experience with VMware, vSphere, ESXi servers, AWS, and MS Azure
Knowledge of software configuration management tools
Skilled in network and backup solutions
