This position desires a Leader who can think out of the box while is capable of adapting to new ideas and integrating the standards of work. Someone who understands the challenges from the other disciplines point of view. Leader will be the point person for the group, communicating down the intent and intern communicate to the leadership.Job Responsibilities: Manage project designs for complex multi-million dollar bus terminal design/build renovations Deliver large complex and/or multiple projects on time and within budget. Securing, assigning and maintaining a project team containing all the resources required to successfully deliver projects while maintaining quality. Provide effective executive project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques. Plan, organize and direct management and design staff Interface with the client to ensure expectations are identified and met. Manage, ensure and enhance project quality by providing ideas and suggestions aimed at improving the effectiveness of project activities. Perform sales activities including client development, proposal and qualifications development, and interviews. Develop scope and fee documents.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited University is required. Licensed Architect and NCARB Certificate holder, preferable licensed in Massachusetts or able to quickly obtain a Massachusetts license is required Minimum 10 years of experience in vertical buildings programs is required A minimum of 7 years of management involving direct client contact and full responsibility for projects is required Must have good social, networking, organization, communication, people and presentation skills Proven leadership record in the industry Proven ability to strategize and direct business growth and direction Forward thinking and ability to articulate clear vision and understanding of trends in the vertical space Solid history of successful project and client management Ability to demonstrate effective skills in leadership, oral and written communication, planning, teamwork, decision making, problem solving
