This role will play a key role in the design, development, implementation and administration of Employer s compensation programs, including base salary and variable compensation programs. Working with a cross-functional team, including business partners and organizational leaders, this role is responsible to develop and deliver strategic and innovative compensation policies and programs, including bonus pay programs, sales compensation, executive pay, equity compensation and long-term incentive compensation programs. This position will be located at our Westford, MA corporate headquarters.This is an exciting opportunity to build a compensation structure for a growing high-tech organization!Essential Responsibilities:Lead the development, implementation, administration, communication and compliance of various global compensation models, incentive programs, including annual bonus plan, sales compensation, and global equity plans Manage global compensation programs, including annual merit process and performance bonus program, ensuring that the total rewards of base and incentive pay are aligned with overall organizational goals and strategiesEnsure internal equity and external competitiveness of the organization s compensation programs; Conduct detailed, competitive research, analysis and modeling for compensation programs including annual increase budgets, competitive assessments of trends and impacts, equity utilization, and financial impact modeling of incentive design scenarios.Conduct job evaluations, and identify emerging trends within the industry and specific regions of business operationsEnsure compliance with global employment-related statutory and/or regulatory requirements regarding employee pay and employment while remaining current on compensation-related legislationProvide guidance on compensation practices to HR Business Partners, Recruiting, and business leadersServe as subject matter experts on compensation-related matters, including; market pricing, job evaluations and review of salary offers and requisitions. Assist with the administration of merit, promotions and salary adjustmentsSupport the development, implementation, and maintenance of compensation tools and systems Lead various compensation-related projects which involve development and/or re-design of existing compensation programsAssist with the development, preparation and distribution of compensation communication materialsReview requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate pay levels and FLSA classificationDevelop, coach and mentor department staff memberLead or participate in projects/initiatives as assignedRequirements:Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience requiredIn-depth technical experience with advanced, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong compensation data analysis experience.Significant compensation design and analysis, or related experience; certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Certificate preferred.Experience in a high growth technology company with understanding of tech industry market and trendsExperience in HR function with global employees, with a strong functional emphasis in a complex multi-national organizationExperience working in performance focused environment with demonstrated compensation experience and in depth knowledge in the areas of: base salary, market pricing, variable pay, data analysis, research and cost/benefit design modelingLong-term incentive compensation experience, including RSU programsStrong knowledge and practical application of employment law & practicesExperience developing and implementing sales and global compensation practicesAbility to analyze data, understand trends & develop recommendations for action based on the analysisExperience preparing materials for presentation to leadership, including developing Board of Director level presentation.Must have strong collaboration and influencing skills and the ability to provide high-level customer support at all levels of the companyExcellent written and verbal communications skills as well as strong interpersonal skillsPossess high level of integrity, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and influence key decision makersUnderstanding of business strategies, competitive challenges and the financial impact of HR decisions.
