The qualified candidate will join the Analytical R&D organization in Andover, MA, to enable development of biological therapeutics in Andover, MA. Within Analytical R&D the candidate will join the Project Progression & Biochemistry group. This group develops analytical methodologies and strategies needed to progress biotherapeutic products in the pipeline. The role will encompass essential laboratory and office support for the department, which will enable scientific staff to focus on method development and product characterization. The candidate will have multiple responsibilities, and they must be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and last minute requests.
Some responsibilities will include: Maintaining stocks of office and laboratory supplies Contributing to general laboratory organization Scheduling appointments and compiling pre-written updates for staff meetings Assisting with equipment maintenance updates and usage tracking Maintaining freezer and cold room organization Assisting with sample management, distribution, and shipping Maintaining electronic information using departmental document management system Additional Skills: Attention to detail, strong organizational skills in order to start and complete a task Effective interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, and computer literate enough to quickly learn new systems Ability to comply with sample handling safety instructions Excellent documentation and organizational skills Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment is desired, but not required
