We are looking for a Corporate Accountant to join a small, but growing team! Lead the accounting operations of the company including maintaining an adequate system of accounting records/policies and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results. Manages cash including weekly cash management and forecasting functions. Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of monthly closing, processing of accounts payables and receivables, purchase orders, and internal monthly financial statements. Ensure that the company's accounting procedures and reported results conform to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Responsible for providing complete and accurate financial information to satisfy the needs of management, owners, and regulatory agencies. Responsible for providing financial information to the CEO for quarterly Board meetings. Responsible for processing company payroll. Responsible for processing Accounts Receivable and Contract Accounting activities to ensure the accurate and timely processing and monitoring of customer billings, cash receipts and contract ceiling limits. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance - Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA designation is a plus 7-10 years of hands-on accounting managerial/controller experience desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required. ERP system experience desired.
